Advancing Edo State’s Aviation Ecosystem
The Director General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, met with Edo State Governor, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, and the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, to discuss advancing Edo State’s aviation ecosystem.
At the centre of talks was the proposed Edo Air, envisioned to boost connectivity, economic activity, and investment in the state.
Beyond regulating Public-Private Partnerships for the Federal Government, the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission provides PPP support and peer review opportunities to states through the Nigeria PPP Network. This is evident in landmark projects such as the Bakassi Deep Sea Port and Ondo Deep Sea Port, both state-initiated and approved in December 2025.
